In this six hour 3d Studio Max video tutorial. We'll be modeling a high poly RIM-116 Rolling Airframe Missile Launcher step by step. We'll be utilizing many of Max's poly modeling and spline modeling tools to complete our project. We'll Keep the model as light weight and simplified as possible, only using subdivision in areas that require it. As this is a large, complex model. We'll start out by blocking in the major pieces of the barrel, legs and base sections, adding in some of the larger details. With the major forms in place. We'll make a second pass on the model, adding in additional smaller and smaller details until we achieve the final result you see here.
